Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management is proposing to issue an Order to River Bend Investments (AL), LLC, which operates The Willows and Nickel Creek at River Landing, a facility located at Beadle Lane and Wall Triana in Madison County, Alabama.

The violations consisted of commencing and continuing NPDES construction activity without having implemented effective BMP’s and non-compliant discharges for the facility mentioned above.

The Department is proposing a civil penalty in the amount of $11,500. The Order, if issued, would require River Bend Investments (AL), LLC to implement and maintain effective BMPs for The Willows and Nickel Creek at River Landing.

Interested persons may submit written comments, including a request for a hearing, within 30 days of the publication date of this notice to:
